ABSTRACT

This chapter discusses approaches to developing positive and influential leaders. As a result of developing the knowledge, abilities, and skills in interpersonal relationships with others, Cecil and Rothwell underline they will get along better, accept and cope faster with life, work and environmental issues, and they will fulfill their needs by paying more attention to their personal and professional goals. It is believed and proven that in a modern society, people enjoy being around positive people versus people with a negative energy, complaining and pointing at what is wrong or not working. The supervisory position is one of the most influential positions in any organization. Mindset is based on the individuals’ life events, their experiences at home and at work, their upbringing of family and society, the ways they perceive reality, their belief system, the things, and topics that interest them, and their underlying motivations.
