ABSTRACT
The school experience for today’s kids is both similar to and different from what we as parents experienced when we were in school. On one hand, school is still a learning community with classmates, teachers, and principals. You still have show-and-tell, recess, nightly homework, pop quizzes, and standardized testing. There is still a school smell and a lunch box smell that will take you back to your own school days.
