ABSTRACT

This chapter discusses typical conditional complex sentences in the form of “zhǐyǒu p, cái q (只有p,才q),” including the differences between “zhǐyào p, jiù q (只要p,就q)” and “rúguǒ p, jiù q (如果p,就q).” The chapter also elaborates on complex sentences in the form of “yuè p, yuè q (越p,越q).”
