ABSTRACT
This chapter develops the understanding that all spirituality takes place in a particular context: in a particular location (including its own geography and climate), a particular historical setting (including its political, economic, and social elements), and a particular culture (including its language, symbols, myths, art, and values). These are the factors that influence and shape the development of spiritualities alongside the dynamics of faith.
