ABSTRACT

The Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development advanced diploma is a level 7 qualification that is comparable to postgraduate-level study. The programme prepares learners to lead strategically in their organisation and it is most relevant to practitioners working at business partner or advisor level and above. To successfully complete the level 7 Advanced Diploma in Strategic People Management or Strategic Learning and Development, you will be required to complete a total of eight units. This consists of four core units, three specialist units and one additional unit. This chapter explores the core modules and how to study effectively at level 7. It explores the assessment criteria and expectations in relation to the essential pillars of good assignments, required to pass submissions. It provides a number of sample responses with feedback in order to highlight good practice.
