ABSTRACT
The previous chapters in the book discussed two of these topics. Chapters 1–8 outlined the processes by which designs occur, while Chapters 9–12 augmented this analysis with a detailed discussion of the basic building blocks of policy designs. This chapter looks at the second topic and outlines the principles or the best practices for policy design which have been described in the literature on the topic.
