ABSTRACT

Chapter 5 explores the intricate relationship between vulnerability and change in qualitative inquiry, examining their impact on researchers, their research and community connections. It underscores the significance of self-awareness and transformative insights as catalysts for meaningful change. The chapter explores various dimensions of vulnerability, including unconventional learning approaches, the potential of arts-based research and the profound effects of research on personal growth. It delves into the complexities of voice, reflexivity and justice-centered research, drawing from feminist and transdisciplinary perspectives.
