ABSTRACT

Stealing is probably the most frequent act of aggression by both boys and girls against the adults in their lives. Girls, who are likely to have a stronger sense of morality inculcated into them from an earlier age than boys, are usually well aware that they are doing what they themselves believe to be wrong when they steal. Stealing needs to be seen by rational human beings as an offence against people. Stealing may not seem to some people to be an attack on society, yet it does not only threaten people’s property it threatens their security. Schools are themselves societies that provide structures which are intended to give shape to the lives of their members.
