ABSTRACT

In today’s world, there is an increasing demand for more participatory learning in educational institutions. This kind of learning requires active engagement and collaboration between teachers and learners. The idea behind this approach is that it provides more opportunities for learners to engage in the learning process and contribute to classroom discussions. By managing classrooms effectively, teachers can help learners engage in participatory learning. This is true whether the classroom is offline or online. Today’s classrooms require effective management in order to facilitate participatory learning. The idea is that teachers should make the classroom a place that provides enough opportunities for every learner to give their best and excel in different walks of life. This chapter discusses the different approaches, principles, and techniques for managing classrooms to help learners engage in participatory learning. The chapter aims to empower teachers to make their classrooms a place where every learner, regardless of their social, academic, and psychological orientations, can participate in classroom activities and learn.
