ABSTRACT
This chapter will introduce the research design of this book. The overall qualitative research design aims to answer the research questions. I have stated the research questions in previous chapters. Thus, I will justify the qualitative research design which is narrative-oriented from a life course perspective. Afterwards, I will tell my data collection story. Then, my data analysis story through thematic analysis will be presented. Subsequently, I will address the issues relating to the ethical considerations relevant to this book.
