ABSTRACT
This chapter introduces a fictional couple who lives outside of Houston, Texas. After being married for three years, the couple participates in 18 non-consecutive sessions of in-person Brain-Informed Neurodiverse Couple Therapy (BINCT) and three sessions of virtual BINCT. Walker is a neurotypical (NT) 29-year-old Caucasian male. Lizbeth is a Gifted (ND) 27-year-old Caucasian female who recently gave birth to their first child. Walker initiated couple therapy at this time due to concerns about Lizbeth’s mounting irritability upon their transition to parenthood.
