ABSTRACT
In this chapter, students reflect on life and death, drawing on religion in their assessment of scathing obituaries published in newspapers, the meaning of life, and what makes them happy. For some students, God and/or religion (or their faith) were integral parts of their life purpose, and it was one major factor that contributed to their happiness, both in the past and present.
