ABSTRACT
Having already introduced the new remote and hybrid ways of working that enable sound studios and offices to be further away from urban centres, this chapter examines some of the particular issues and preparedness needed to be able to continue to work, for short periods of time, during power blackouts or interruptions, and the increasing likelihood of them becoming more prevalent as a disruption to our work patterns.
