ABSTRACT

In this chapter we see what impact the recovery of the evolutionary transformative dimension and the acceptance of change pursued through psychotherapy have on the dream. We also observe how dream activity can help the resumption of the interrupted evolutionary process. Dreams dreamed at crucial transitional moments of the therapeutic journey have specific characteristics that reveal the underlying mental process. These dreams are called “dreams that turn over a page” by Quinodoz and should not be confused with regressive dreams. Here we discover how to recognize them and how to use them in service of healing.
