ABSTRACT

During the final stages of treatment in therapy, we see the emergence of dreams that anticipate healing with obvious elements of joy and success, but sometimes these dreams are also laden with ambivalence with respect to the fear of loss of security, the need to prevent envy and to keep the affection system in balance. Working on these dreams is very helpful in clarifying the prognosis and in accompanying our clients toward a closure of the therapy contract. Sometimes these dreams occur after the end of therapy and are recounted to us in follow-up meetings.
