ABSTRACT
Interest in the world of dreams spans throughout time and involves every human culture. Anthropologists, philosophers, and historians have dealt with these themes with great passion. The journey could be boundless and adventurous. We shall merely point out authors who deserve to be used as guides to accompany us in this vast quest: Carl G. Jung, James Hillman, Sidarta Ribeiro, Silvia Rosa, and Vittorio Lingiardi.
