ABSTRACT

Using Eric Berne's ego states model, we discover that dreams express those parts of the personality that do not find space during one's waking life. After describing the four strategic stages of a psychotherapeutic journey according to the transactional-analytic method, each of which has specific working characteristics, in this chapter we delve into the description of the ways in which dream analysis makes an extraordinary contribution to the achievement of the client's individual goals of each “stage” of individual therapy.
