ABSTRACT

The first option is to look at how many managers scored in the humble zone for all the 12 behaviors. I.e., how many managers exist, where employees said “Agree” or “Agree strongly” to every single of the 12 sub-elements of humility. Some may say that one needs get a high score on all 12 sub-elements, and that it is even more important to see what employees say of their managers once they have heard the definition of humility. Again, the good news is, that depending on the behavior, they see between 61 and 76 percent of their workforce as getting it right. These figures are quite close to what the employees saw in their leaders – when they looked at the individual sub-elements of humility. The larger the company the fewer details yet the more rumors you will hear about other departments. In addition, with more departments in larger companies, there may be more collisions between the different responsibilities.
