ABSTRACT
This chapter outlines the central tenets and principles of a queer and trans ethics of care. I begin by situating this theorizing in the legacies of colonial education systems in Canada before exploring the three principles in depth. These principles include: care as nuanced and expansive, care as disruptive and trans-gressive and care as an individualized practice within a care web.
