ABSTRACT

Adopting a multi-perspective narrative approach to bring women’s voices on board, this chapter focuses on women as collective leaders who enhance transformation. Entries from across the globe are integrated to shed light on the pivotal role that women—in their capacity as leaders, formal and informal educators, social workers, and community advocates—play in supporting and empowering the marginalized, minority groups, and refugees, so as to promote economic and educational sustainability, social equity, and social justice. Described as a covert revolution that promotes transformation, stories from women leaders from Australia, Cyprus, Lebanon, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, and the UK are shared.
