ABSTRACT

A task that every child must learn throughout their life if they want to grow into a happy adult is to overcome frustration. Life is full of satisfying moments, both large and small, but also of frustrating moments, both large and small too. There are many studies that show that there is no correlation between wealth and happiness. Studies have shown that those who say “thank you” more often and those who feel more grateful reach higher levels of happiness. Happiness is a combination of character, security, confidence. It is the ability to assert our rights and it is about having a positive outlook on life. Parents can help their child build a positive thinking style by helping them to be grateful for the little things each day, taking the positive aspects from the day and, above all, growing their patience and toleration of life’s frustrations.
