ABSTRACT

Attention is the window through which we communicate with the world. Adults take courses in relaxation, yoga, or Tai Chi to maintain a wide attention, in an effort to have a brilliant and astute mind. Others practise mindfulness, a practice that we know improves their concentration, creativity, decision making and productivity. However, parents around the world continue to download games and apps on their mobile phones, in the hope of making the attention span of their children ever faster. Another reason why many parents leave their children to play with video games is because, somehow, they need their children to grow up more quickly. Children tend to lose interest quickly and have trouble finishing things. Full attention is that which is undivided, calm and maintained until the end. Helping them to stay focused, develop a conversation style without breaks in it, doing exercise or creating the relevant atmosphere can help them achieve it.
