ABSTRACT

Neuroscientists passionately believe that the real treasure of the human mind is its ability to adapt and solve new problems. Both skills depend heavily on creativity. Recently, neuropsychologists have become interested in the phenomenon of “divergent thinking”. Throughout their childhood, every child has to endure an infinite chain of corrections, improvements, criticisms, disapprovals, approvals, reproaches, mutterings and condemnations that make being creative too inconvenient and painful. Every creative person is surrounded by tools that help them express themselves, be it a film camera, paintbrushes or a typewriter. A child also needs tools that allow him or her to express themselves. Boredom is the mother of all creativity. All the greatest creative geniuses came up with something during a moment of boredom. One of the characteristics of creative people is that they are able to connect ideas that to others may seem unconnected.
