ABSTRACT

Six letters are offered at mid-year to help parents evaluate their progress to date. A mid-year check-in re-visits the two parent checklists and guides parents on how to easily evaluate and compare their beginning scores with those at this six-month interval. Next is a letter inviting parents to review their beginning goals and create new goals in light of their progress. The following week’s letters bring parents’ attention to easily overlooked changes that may seem insignificant but are actually signs of successful results and cues to important developmental changes underway. The grouping ends with letters reviewing the importance of regularity in doing QST six to seven days a week, consistency that is underlined by research data showing the benefits of doing so, along with letters from two parents who share their experiences in addressing these challenges.
