ABSTRACT
The book begins by attempting to dispel myths about how easy it can be to finance an independent film. It then introduces readers to the stars of the book, the 66 producers that were interviewed. Statistics are provided to help broadly describe the producers who contributed their time and their wisdom to the text. Commonalities and differences in their backgrounds are explored. Their career success is measured in a few different ways.
