ABSTRACT
This chapter presents a collection of vignettes that describe how the author grew up as the eldest son in a first-generation family business. These vignettes shape the form of the Regressive movement of the Currere process. The author recounts embodied memories of different life phases leading to a period when he starts his own business, consults for other family businesses and becomes a father. These events are written as brief autoethnographic accounts.
