ABSTRACT
The concept of the Spiderweb within the IMD ecosystem created in this book illustrates where all of the participants, including the spider, exist. The reason we characterize it as the Spiderweb is because of those many silk threads, all of which serve to strengthen the spider in this model, as well as serving to limit the ability of other participants to act independently outside of the spider's control because they are connected to the spider that made. In the release of the 2020 study, Gartner Supply Chain Practice Senior Director Analyst Stephen Meyer presented an excellent definition of attributes that standard-setting healthcare supply chains should embody: Leading supply chains ensure strategy development is directly linked to their company's process. The relationship between device manufacturers and physicians that we outlined above is straightforward, and it is easy to point out why those two participants are content.
