ABSTRACT
This section presents an analysis of the functions of the voice in subjectivity. It explores how the voice is a fundamental aspect of signifiers and jouissance by highlighting its topological characteristics. The section also shows how psychoanalysis is sometimes close to mathematical approaches to how a body is subjectively experienced. It develops the topological situation of subjectivity and body through interpretations of voice while emphasizing the importance of listening.
