ABSTRACT
In this final chapter, emerging novel and potentially fruitful avenues of research in the field of sport cyberpsychology will be presented. The previous seven chapters have addressed some areas of research interest to date in the sport cyberpsychology field, with suggestions for future research presented throughout the text. This final chapter considers ways some of these areas could be expanded upon by interested parties in order to address acknowledged research shortcomings in the available literature. Some topical societal, cultural and political issues that also rightly dominate today’s international media and research conversations are considered so that they too could be, in some exciting ways, incorporated into future combined sport, psychology and technology investigations.
