ABSTRACT

Chapter 7: The Virtual Art Department (VAD) workflow, with a breakdown of the types of artists needed and a thorough discussion of all things related to digital assets. Asset creation inside of and outside of Unreal is included, as is the quality control process for assets as they relate to LED walls. Virtual scouting with production design using VR is laid out in an easy-to-follow manner, and VR-based pre-lighting and scene preparation is demonstrated in text and images. Everything one needs to know about the software that creates digital content, software for version control, and creating a content library is contained in this chapter.
