ABSTRACT

This chapter serves as a conclusion, where the author revisits the core themes and findings discussed in each preceding chapter. In doing so, the current chapter aims to provide a deeper understanding of these themes in response to the central research questions concerning the impact of racial and prejudicial stereotypes on criminal investigations. It also takes a moment to draw connections between the core themes and findings and the existing body of research. This exercise illuminates how the findings contribute to advancing the ongoing discourse, particularly in a time marked by the rapid expansion of multiculturalism. This expansion underscores the urgent need to comprehend the emergence and influence of racial and cultural stereotypes within the context of the criminal justice system.
