ABSTRACT
Chapter 8 analyzes the third step of China’s supply reform as “root removal treatment”. To fundamentally eliminate the cyclical imbalance of China’s economic structure, we need to promote deepening reform and institutional innovation from four aspects: the relationship between the government and the market, the distribution system, the incentive mechanism and innovation mechanism, and the land system. At the same time, we should seek new impetus for China’s economic growth from three aspects: improving the quality and efficiency of factors, optimizing and upgrading the structure, and improving TFP.
