ABSTRACT

Imagine you were baking, and you combined ingredients which have no business being cooked together. Something like a mix of sweet potatoes, brown sugar, pecans, and… marshmallows. 1 This vile concoction goes by the innocuous name of ‘sweet potato casserole’, and presumably some people like it—but not everyone! No doubt you can tell that I think it’s gross. But suppose you don’t—which of us is correct?
