ABSTRACT
Content Warning: the thought experiment described here sets up a contrast between murder and child abuse, a contrast discussed in detail in many of the recommended readings. I will briefly touch upon the example here, since it is key to the dilemma’s original formulation, although I will aim to give a broader characterization of the dilemma.
