ABSTRACT

The goals of Session 3 are to have the students say a bit more about themselves as individuals and to recognize and accept the ways they might be both similar to or different from others in the group. In the “Opening,” the students are introduced to an “animal yoga” warm-up exercise and play a game together called “this or that.” In the “Body,” the leaders reintroduce the “60-Second Autobiography,” this time using images of animals on cards. In the “Closing,” the leaders again ask the students to reflect on their experience in the group both verbally (by stating what they liked or learned) and in writing (by filling out the weekly survey).
