ABSTRACT

Late work policies are very difficult to manage. Accepting late work and creating a system that enables students to deliver work beyond the due date can be tedious and creates more work for the teacher. However, I suggest that it is less stressful to just accept all work late for the same grade, no matter how late it was completed. Many students will not take advantage of this generous policy, but it demonstrates to parents and guardians that you are very flexible and willing to work with a student despite their inconsistent work habits. Keeping the system simple benefits the teachers and the students.
