ABSTRACT
This chapter examines no-body homicides that occur when two people, each a bit “off” but not deadly on their own, come together in an interactive combination that becomes lethal. When charged, everyone eventually admits collective guilt but attempts to place culpability onto their partner. This both helps and complicates prosecutors’ attempts to obtain convictions. Trials in these cases are usually long and sensationalistic. They receive extensive publicity.
