ABSTRACT
This chapter focuses on analyzing the territorial comprehensive consolidation and rehabilitation patterns of typical coastal zones and islands in China’s three cities and proposes suggestions on refining the paths to implementation. The patterns adopted in these cases mainly include the “problem-oriented, intelligent supervision” in Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, the “eco-friendly and industrial differential support” in Dongfang City, Hainan Province, and the “ecological optimization and intensive villages” in Qionghai City, Hainan Province.
