ABSTRACT
This part discusses the Positive Youth Development (PYD) framework. The PYD framework provides a suitable toolkit for modelling children’s quality of life. It explores the integration of PYD theory with sustainability theory and advances the development and application of the PYD toolkit to make a child-friendly tourism destination. In addition, the aim of this chapter is to provide up-to-date and comprehensive contributions from the PYD framework for future research, interventions and policy recommendations concerning children living and working in tourism cities.
