ABSTRACT

This chapter provides insights on ways to grow and expand the field of nonverbal neutrality in scholarship and provide practical applications for industry practitioners. It will discuss other forms of nonverbal communication outside of facial expressions, body posture, and gestures. It will also provide a call for the exploration of nonverbal communication in other forms of journalism, as well as increased attention to international study of the concepts, especially in non-objectivity centered journalism systems. The chapter will conclude with a look at how the findings should encourage the field, owners, and journalism educators to include more nonverbal communication training, support, and resources.
