ABSTRACT
This chapter provides a detailed account of Robert Kane’s libertarian theory of free will. In doing so, it explains the nature of self-forming acts and plural voluntary control and how Kane tries to resolve worries about luck. Kane’s view is also contrasted with alternative libertarian theories of free will.
