ABSTRACT
This chapter reflects on how the stages of conocimiento can be used to advance the approaches used to research and understand identity construction. This chapter emphasises the inadequacy of exposing the pathologised and denigrated and the spaces they find exile, but more important, is to know how this world is constructed and how the identities it houses find their way there.
