ABSTRACT

The introduction explains the pressing reasons in the world of work for leaders to acquire the ability to coach others at different levels in their organisation. It outlines the skills, theories, and practical models needed for high-quality leadership, not only at executive level, but at every level where there are leaders of teams. Two core theories are introduced: Ken Wilber's Integral vision with a focus on practical application and healthy interconnectedness, and Nancy Kline's Thinking Environment® to create a listening culture. The importance of self-awareness and reflection in managing complexity and maintaining productive relationships is stressed. The contents of each chapter are briefly outlined.
