ABSTRACT

This chapter discusses the context of dehumanizing experiences of school agents from marginalized social identities. The dehumanization of students from the historically oppressed background whose social identity is objectified and interpreted from the stereotypical lens is addressed. We will also be understanding resistance in the educational domain through constructive inclusion. The chapter will conclude on the current model of education where the dehumanization of minorities and lower classes students can’t be denied and which is quite influenced by the enactment of governance. It is imperative to bring equality in both the methods of education whether offline or online but a lack of resources and proper mechanism to impart efficient education to the marginalized students is itself an act of dehumanization and mismanagement of power in the educational domain.
