ABSTRACT

Pareto's Principle is taught in big consultancy agencies and is one of the tools a manager uses when they have to take decisions – rapidly. It would be great to have time to analyze all the problems that come up. But the best is the enemy of what's good, says the rule of 80/20, and time is a limited resource. The 80/20 rule means concentrating on that 20% of topics that can yield 80% of the answers, focusing the analyses possible at that precise moment on these topics.
