ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses one new kind of normal—the return to the ex-husband—and the reasons for the return. It discusses those marriages where the husband comes out and the wife discovers her own same-sex sexuality because of the actions of her husband. And it discusses today’s more diverse mixed orientation marriages where one party in a heterosexual marriage, or in a same-sex marriage, transgenders. Also discussed are women creating various types of polyamorous relationships to meet their needs and those of their families. Women, including those in polyamorous relationships, share their stories.
