ABSTRACT

This chapter discusses the reasons single women connect with married women, what they do to maintain their relationships when their married lovers need to be with their families, and how these women create their own traditions. It discusses the part that triangulation plays in keeping some relationships alive and how the single lovers feel about this. It also talks about how some single lovers become a part of their married lovers’ families and how the gay community looks at these relationships. The stories of the single lovers thread through this chapter.
