ABSTRACT
This chapter attempts to briefly address the major debates regarding the war neuroses in Great Britain, France, Germany and the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Within this framework, new questions arose regarding limits: on the one hand, the ethical limits in the treatment of traumatised people; on the other hand, the limits of the webs of representations as a means of approaching and processing certain elements of traumatic experiences.
