ABSTRACT
Certain majors may look upon core content classes in more depth to assess level of preparedness for higher-level learning. Engineering, nursing, financial, and business programs may turn a closer eye towards specific mathematics courses, grades, and scores on math assessments rather than overall grades in English and evidence-based reading and writing components because these programs are propelled through the lens of formulaic math, structural science, and/or computational analysis.
