ABSTRACT
Obeya is the visual place where people in charge of the development of a new product share their information and collaborate to review, analyse, and act upon. The product wall displays the engineering parameters translated from the customer wall information. The path between product wall and customer wall follows the path to Growth and Profit, as a metaphor for the product development flow. The sandbox is in the centre and is surrounded by the following four walls: product wall, flow wall, problem wall, and customer wall. Obeya is as much a map that displays what the customer need in order to make progress in the territories in a simple, visual way, as it is a collaborative working place for sharing, deciding, acting, and learning together.
